Earnest Pettway is a consultant at Bain & Company, specializing in private equity due diligence and strategic business analysis across industries, such as software, AI technology, and retail. Before joining Bain, Earnest obtained his CPA license in California and worked at Ernst & Young (EY) and KPMG in financial accounting and advisory services, where he advised on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, SEC reporting, and financial audits for major corporations.

Earnest earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where he was a Consortium Fellow and an elected member of the Darden Student Body Government. He also holds a Master of Accounting and Professional Consultancy and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Accounting from Villanova University, where he was also a four-year starter on the football team.

Beyond his professional experience, Earnest is a dedicated mentor, having coached varsity football and basketball at Long Beach Poly High School. He is also a volunteer for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles.  As a CPA, Earnest brings a unique blend of analytical expertise, leadership, and passion for mentorship to his work.
