Sam Long grew up in Newnan, Georgia, where he attended First Baptist Church of Newnan. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer before earning his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. After his military service, Sam relocated to Houston, Texas, where he is currently practicing as a trial attorney and serving as a deacon at Second Baptist Church. Sam is married to Jenna Long, a veterinarian, and together they have two boys. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering in his local community, staying active outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends. He plans to continue his legal career in Houston while helping to further Engage International’s mission worldwide.
