The date, the place, and roughly what you have in mind. Rough answers are fine — we would far rather have your request early and vague than late and precise.

Someone reads it properly, checks Sam’s calendar against your date, and replies by name.
Within a few working daysWe settle it and confirm
A short call or a few emails to agree the subject, the running order and the practical questions — travel, lodging, recording. Everything then goes into one email you can forward to your team, with Sam’s bio and a photograph.

The earlier the better. Sam’s calendar is set well in advance, so the sooner your request reaches us, the better the chance of holding your date. Shorter notice is still worth sending — dates do open up — so if your event is close, send the request and then give us a call.

Open questions are welcome and often the most useful part of the evening — unscreened, and in rooms where a good number of people are not Christians. Recording and livestreaming are usually fine too, with Sam’s agreement beforehand. Mention either in your message so we can plan the running order with you.
